Hell is a lake of fire and lasts forever. MARK 9:43-50"...it is better for you to enter the Kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into Hell, where the worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched. Everyone will be salted with fire."
No one is good enough (must be perfect) to go to Heaven. ISAIAH 64:6"...and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags..." ROMANS 3:23"... all have sinned..."
Heaven is a place of rest and happiness and lasts forever. REVELATION 21 &22"...will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain..."
There is only one way to Heaven-God's way. HEBREWS 10:14"...because by one sacrifice He has made perfect..." ROMANS 5:17"...life through one man, Jesus Christ." ROMANS 5:19"...life through Jesus Christ our Lord." JOHN 14:6"...I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man comes to the Father but by me."
Most people don't check the "roots" of their religion. Only truth is clearly defined by the early prophets of the Old Testament. False religions have been started in recent years and/or have deviated from the teachings of God's Word. For example religions that teach that Jesus Christ is not God are false and are considered cults. ((Example- Mormons (Church of "Jesus Christ" of Latter Day "Saints.")) Even worse, many preachers that seem to teach God’s truth, add human effort or works to believing which deceives many and results in the same destiny as the unbeliever. For example, belief plus submission, or belief plus good intent.
PROVERBS 14:12 "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death."
False religions require a person to work their way to Heaven. GALATIANS 2:16 "...not justified by works of the law..." EPHESIANS 2:19 "...not of works, lest any man should boast..." |
